1:1 dog coaching in Canton Zug
I come to you — to your home, your neighbourhood, your usual walk. With an honest assessment and a written plan.
Why I don't just work with your dog
Most dog schools train your dog. I look at both of you.
Not because you’re the problem. But because you’re the part of the team who can actually change something. Your dog can’t really reflect on his own behaviour — you can.
On top of that: in a group, nobody’s watching how you hold the leash, when you stop, or how fast you react. And that’s often exactly what decides how a situation plays out.
I’m a trained dog trainer and a trained coach for people. That combination is why I see both sides — and can explain both to you.
Is this the right fit for you?
Yes, if…
✅ you have a specific issue that keeps coming up in everyday life
✅ you want to understand why something happens — not just what to practice
✅ you’re willing to look at your own behaviour too: timing, leash handling, reactions
✅ you don’t want a rigid course schedule
✅ you want to work 1:1 instead of in a group
✅ you’re willing to put things into practice between sessions
You don’t need to feel like «something is wrong with you.» Most people come because of the dog. That’s completely fine.
Probably not, if…
❌ you’re expecting a quick fix
❌ you just want to build basic cues — a dog school is cheaper and better suited for that
❌ you don’t want me looking at your behaviour as well
❌ your dog is seriously aggressive, has already bitten, or suffers from severe anxiety
On that last point: leash reactivity, getting worked up during encounters, barking out of frustration — that’s what I work with. That’s everyday stuff, not an exception. But I don’t work with cases that belong in behaviour therapy. In those cases, I’ll tell you honestly and recommend someone.
